I was reading a Children's story book to my kids last night and it said in the course of events, " My house is me and I am it. My house is where I like to be and it looks like all my dreams. " And after having a fun time reading it together I discussed the moral of the story with my little bundles of possibilities. It obviously said 'without saying in words' that we ought to follow our dreams rather than trying to fit in to other's dictates, styles and choices. Later, when I had nicely tucked my sleepy kids in their cozy blankets, it occurred to me that the moral stands true for all of us (grown ups) too. Reconstructing the statement to suit us I got, " My society is me and I am it. My society is where I like to be and it looks like all my dreams.
